In the meantime, we've pulled together some tips for decorating your tree! Cheers to the holidays and happy decorating!
Don’t underestimate the power of fluffing your artificial flocked Christmas tree. If you buy an artificial tree you will be surprised to see what a small box it comes in. We recently bought 2 flocked trees from Walmart and they came in tightly wrapped in really small boxes. It was hard to believe a 4 ft and 6.5 ft tree would be able to fit in them. Well, sure enough the box did fit my 6 foot flocked tree. What these trees really needed was a lot of fluffing. Be prepared to fluff your way to a gorgeous tree. The more time you spend fluffing your tree, the more full it will look. Start fluffing from the bottom up. Also, make your way from the inside to the ends of each branch. Fluff each branch by lifting each tip.
Picking a theme for your Christmas tree can be so much fun! You can go to the store or search on Pinterest to get some ideas, or even bounce some ideas off your kids! Not only is it fun to have a Christmas tree theme, but you can also incorporate this theme throughout your home decor as well.
Once you pick a theme, it's time to shop for your garland and ornaments! When picking your ornaments go for a variety of sizes - this will add great depth to your tree. Also, consider adding texture to your tree, whether you choose burlap for your garland or pinecone ornaments, be sure to pick ornaments that will bring different textures.
