Make this your current affirmation because when you say it aloud, it will likely become your reality. Do you believe in affirmations? Do you believe you have the power to manifest anything you want in your life? I hope you're silently telling yourself "YES HONEY"! However, if you want to be saying yes, but aren't quite sure what an affirmation is, then you're in the right place! I want to share with you just how powerful affirmations can be and how they can change your life.
Affirmations are short positive statements that are meant to empower you and challenge you to be in conscious control of your thoughts. When you repeat these positive statements to yourself daily, you program your unconscious mind into believing them, and in return your conscious mind starts taking actions toward those beliefs.
Believe it or not, you likely have affirmations in your life now, they just may not be the most positive. Do you ever tell yourself you can't do something, you're not smart enough for a certain job you wish you had, you're not skinny enough to fit into those clothes you've been eyeing..... this list goes on, and on, and on. This is called negative self-talk. We all do this to ourselves. The worst part is, this negative self-talk is what keeps us from truly achieving what it is we want most in life. Once you start to tackle those demons by creating your new positive affirmations, you WILL change those beliefs in your mind. Then the transformation truly begins. By empowering your thoughts, you empower your mind, and change happens.
Affirmations are pretty much exercises for the mind. If you believe you need to exercise your body in order to stay in shape, then adopting daily affirmations will be a cake walk, so let's get started!
1. Write a list of positive statements regarding yourself, your life, your character, your goals
2. Create a list of statements that include the words "I am". Not all affirmations need to have those two words, so do what is best for you.
3. Keep the statements short, so they are easy to remember
4. Write statements in present tense
1. I am strong
2. I am enough
3. I am confident in who I am
4. I am an amazing mom
5. I am a worthy of success
6. I am living a life I love
7. I am ready, willing and happy to receive money
1. I have the strength to make the right decisions
2. I love my voice and I am not afraid to speak on stage
3. I choose faith over fear
4. I deserve to be loved
5. Abundance surrounds me
6. The only approval I need is my own
Take your top three affirmations and set aside 10 minutes each morning or evening to repeat those three affirmations to yourself. The best time to do this is when you have a clear mind and some quiet time. I prefer closing my eyes and getting into a meditation zone. Some people prefer to look into a mirror and say their affirmations to themselves. However you choose to do this, just keep in mind to say them to yourself 3-5 times for each affirmation. Take your time and take in the meaning behind each affirmation. Close your eyes and visualize images that have to do with each affirmation. This brings them to life in your conscious mind.
If you have time in the middle of the day, say repeat these affirmations once again.
Once you gain that power over your mind, you begin to realize anything you set your mind to can be attainable! This daily exercise truly is life-changing! I hope you enjoyed learning about positive affirmations. Cheers to manifesting a life you love!
